Boolean Modeling in Biology — Systems Biology course
Postgraduate (M.Sc.) lectures, Department of Bioinformatics, Savitribai Phule Pune University, 2026
Delivered a series of guest lectures on Boolean modeling of biological networks as part of the Systems Biology course for M.Sc. (Second Year) students at Savitribai Phule Pune University (March 2026).
The lectures introduced students to:
- Reconstructing signaling and regulatory networks from literature
- Formulating Boolean rules and simulating network dynamics
- Steady-state and attractor analysis
- Identifying sensitive nodes and using Boolean models to generate testable biological hypotheses
Course materials, hands-on exercises, and example notebooks are available in the accompanying GitHub repository: Boolean-Modeling-Biology-MSc-2026.
